The View

We looked at a lot of houses. We looked online and with a realtor.  We spent almost a year just looking, visiting, and deciding which area we wanted. Ultimately, we knew it had to have a view. (Why buy a mountain home if you can't see the mountain?). We could have bought newer, bigger, or cheaper, but we wanted the view.

As an amateur photographer, I find myself taking a ton of pictures out on the deck, but no photo does it justice. The view changes, not just by the season, but by the day, the hour, the moment. I don't particularly like rainy days because the "smoke" rises and obscures the view.
But on a clear day, wow!  We have enjoyed the gorgeous greens of summer, the beautiful red, yellow, and orange of fall, and the pristine white of winter.  I would say the view is almost perfect, except for those two cell towers.  Oh well, the price we pay for modern technology!
