Why Queen of the Mountain?

Believe it or not on May 30 we will celebrate 1 year in our mountain home. This first year has been so much fun, I decided I should start sharing some of our adventures-past, present, and future.

I decided to call this page Queen of the Mountain because that is what my son has dubbed me. He "Christmased" me with a 32 oz. Alewine pottery mug to make it official.  That mug sure holds a lot of mocha and definitely makes me feel regal!  

Anyway, our first year has been full of work (cleaning and staining decks, picking out paint, tile, and wallpaper, paving driveway, sprucing up the "yard", etc) and even more fun (family holiday get-togethers, hiking, Dollywood, the Aquarium, go-carts, shopping, craft festivals, snow, etc.)

So, as soon as I get back to the mountain and figure out what I'm doing, I will share some big events complete with photos!
